It is a newly-installed structure dedicated to leisure yachting located along the mouth of the river Arno (Boccadarno) in an area of ab. 200,000 sq. mt. in the largest Tuscan National Park. The switchboard fixed at the top of the marina tower is ideally exposed to the four directions of the winds and suitable to monitor high libeccio gales over the Liguria sea. The Webcam when in “night and day” setting records live the situation at the marina entrance on a 24/7 basis.
Besides making use of this instrumentation, the client is supported by the Navimeteo Harbour service. The port is in fact daily receiving specific bulletins and notices about the area in question and spreads dedicated weather marine data by means of a network of media channels.
